Portrait Session
Up to 3 people • 30-45 minutes
includes 30+ edited, high resolution, digital images
$350 + tax
These portrait sessions can be used for individuals or smaller family groups. It’s also a great way to document any milestone or significant time—including photos for graduating seniors, maternity, a couples’ or anniversary session, or because it’s been too long since your picture has last been taken!
Family Session
Up to 6 people • 60-90 minutes
includes 50+ edited, high resolution digital images
$475 + tax
Let’s capture the beautiful stage your family is in right now. We’ll use a lot of artful, intentional imagery and a few posed portraits to tell the story of your family. These sessions include many different groupings and a variety of images.
If your family is larger than 6 people, additional family members (within the same household) are an additional $10/person.
FAQ
WHEN should i book?
I usually recommend reaching out 4-6 weeks before you’d like your session. This gives us some time to find a date, choose a great location, and brainstorm the themes and kinds of images that are most meaningful to you.
If you’re in a more last-minute timeframe, please don’t be afraid to reach out, and I’ll do what I can to fit you in my schedule! Just know that I do take a limited number of photoshoots per month.
That said, it’s never too early to book your session. If, say, you know you want a session next summer, we can absolutely book many months ahead of time, and finalize a date when we get closer.
WHAT ARE YOUR SESSIONS LIKE?
We usually start all sessions with a few more formal, everyone smiling-at-the-camera pictures. But the majority of our time together is soft, lifestyle direction. I’ll lead you through different activities and prompts to get those beautiful moments of connection. Plan on some snuggling, some games, laying in the grass, maybe bare feet, closed eyes, and definitely not standing up still the whole time!
WHAT TIME OF DAY will our session take place?
I typically shoot during golden hour, or during the last 1-2 hours before sunset. In the summer, early morning sessions can also be delightful before the day grows too hot!
DO YOU DO SESSIONS outside of Salt lake county?
I am happy to photograph families in other locations. Travel to Utah or Davis County usually costs $75 for an additional travel fee. I occasionally have mini sessions in Utah or Davis County with no travel fees (make sure to be on my email subscriber list to be the first to get those dates). I also have a few locations in Summit County that are available without a fee. For other locations, please inquire!
HOW WILL WE CHOOSE A LOCATION?
Once we’ve figured out the kind of session you’re looking for, I’ll give you a list of locations that I think will work great for us. I have so many beautiful locations in Utah, and know the months and seasons that they are in their prime. Of course, if you have any other ideas of places you’d love to shoot, please let me know!
how soon will i get my images back?
You’ll receive your edited, high resolution images back within 3-4 weeks. (Rush editing options are available for an additional fee.) These images will be available from a digital gallery, and are available to download as many times as you’d like. Files will remain online for 1 month.
I’m ready. HOW DO WE BOOK?
To start the process, just shoot me an email (or fill out the contact form)! We’ll discuss the kind of shoot you’re looking for, potential dates, and I’ll send you a Client Agreement. Once you sign the Client Agreement and pay a $50 (nonrefundable) deposit, you’ll be officially on the books. The rest of the balance will be due just before your session. I can’t wait to photograph your family!
do you ever do mini sessions?
I love to offer mini sessions (short, 20-25 minute sessions, up to 6 people) several times of year. I’ll announce a date, location and the times that are available. By booking several sessions back to back, I’m able to offer them at a discounted rate. It’s a great way to update your family photos in a short and easy session! To make sure you get those dates first, make sure you’re on my email subscriber list!
DO YOU EVER PHotograph other kinds of sessions?
Yes! I occasionally photograph newborns, engagements, or extended families, or other sessions. Please reach out for more details on those.
For extended family groups (families with multiple households), I am currently shooting groups of 20 people or less. Pricing begins at $600 and is dependent on number of people.
